For the 2023 edition of the aramtraining rowing camp, we have changed and improved things. As usual, we aim to offer the best possible on-water coaching you can get. For the 2023 edition we made the camp longer, instead of 4 days the new Vienna camp will be 5 days long. In addition, we will be working with more coaches to offer significantly more individual care than ever. More training videos, daily multi-station technique drill training with multiple coaches and the optional lactate test add to the professional environment. 

The camp is open to competitive rowers of all age groups. New for the 2023 edition is the optional learn-to-single-scull training. If you are new to the single, we set aside a dedicate beginners coach to help you become familiar with the single.

In terms of intensities, we will do long sessions (partly with intensities and race prep training) in the morning and stationary technique drills (and optional start sequence training) in the evening.

The camp concludes with our final regatta to add some good racing to the entire experience. The racing is optional. 

You don’t like intensities, or you would like to follow your personal program while at camp? No problem! Just let us know about it in advance, and we will assist you as much as possible.

Who is it for?

New for 2023: We will have a novice single sculler group with dedicated coaching!

Boat rental

Add a comment to your order that you need a rental boat.

A singlescull is roughly 180,- EUR flat for the 5 days. If you want to row the single and a team boat, please expect 340,- EUR of rental boat cost. 

We organize boats from local clubs in Vienna. You pay them directly on site. 

Accommodation:

 The rowing center is on the outskirts of Vienna. There are a few hotels that are in close enough proximity to the center so that you can use a rental bike to get there swiftly, but also close to public transport to get to the inner city in 15 to 20 minutes. 

The best 4**** option is Arcotel Kaiserwasser. The double room including breakfast is less than 100,- per night / person including breakfast as of December 22.  The bus station to the rowing center is right across the street. With subway line U1 (also across the street) you reach city center in 15 minutes.

If you prefer to camp, there is Camping Neue Donau.Which is even closer to the rowing center and also close to subway station U2. 

S C H E D U L E

We have selected Thursday to Monday intentionally. Many rowers come by plane. The cheapest days to fly are Tuesdays and Wednesdays. By starting on Thursday and ending on Monday, you can take advantage of cheap plane tickets.
